Sham Parish

Sham Parish, aged 82, a lifelong resident of Antlers, Oklahoma passed away on May 10, 1998. He was born on August 17, 1915 in Darwin.

He was a retired sawmill worker and a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed auctions and playing dominoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Melissa Parish; his wife, Anna Mae Parish; one son, Mark Dewayne Parish, and two brothers, Noah and Elijah Parish.

Survivors include two sons, Sham Parish, Jr., of Hollywood, Florida and Larry Parish of Muskogee; five daughters, Sina Hopper of Harrah, Oklahoma, Mary Butler of Antlers, Fay Cleveland of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lucille Loman of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Francine Thornton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Ruth Gibson of Oklahoma City; one brother, Sampson Parish of Darwin; one sister, Elizabeth McKenzie of McAlester; one neice, Eva Parish of Corona, California; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
